Tis The Season

November was filled with preparing for Junior League's "Tis The Season Holiday Marketplace".  The event was a success and I enjoyed being on the committee this year.  Since the event was held over my birthday weekend, my parents took me to dinner on Sunday night to celebrate.  I can't believe I am now 28!!

We spent Thanksgiving in Harriman visiting Derek's parents, Grandfather and extended family.  It was great to have a 4 day weekend!  Afterwards we came home so Derek could begin his last week of studying for his test on December 5th in Atlanta.  We are all so ready for the test to be over!

Moving On

It's been a while since I have posted probably because we have been so very busy lately!  The rest of October was spent taking a short trip to Birmingham to see Jill's baby "Knox", watching as the Vols ALMOST beat Bama at Paul & Debbie's house, and then spending a quiet Halloween weekend at home.

On November 3rd, I had my last blood test and found out that my beta levels are finally back down to normal.  Things have been so crazy lately that i've hardly had time to think about everything that has happened.  I have been very busy with meetings for Tis The Season while Derek had his last Dale Carnegie class and graduated! I was able to attend his last class and watch him give a 3 minute presentation.  I was so proud!

This past weekend we went to Knoxville for Homecoming Weekend and the Dance Team Reunion.  I can't believe it was my first (and only) UT game of the season!

Below are some pics of what we've been up to lately:
