4 Weeks Today!

I cannot believe that Hayes is 4 weeks old today!  Time already seems to be flying.  The past couple of we have spent eating, sleeping and changing diapers!  We have also had lots more visitors from family and friends to see baby Hayes.

This past weekend Aunt Jenny Beth came in town to meet Hayes!!

Caitlin also came by to meet Hayes and brought her delicious Lasagna!  Thanks so much!

We decided to put together the play mat this past week that Mrs. Jones got for him.

2 Week Stats

This past Wednesday we got Hayes dressed up to go to his 2 week Dr. appointment with our pediatrician Dr. Leeper.  We were relieved to find out that he had gained all the weight back that he lost in the hospital plus some!  He weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces.  Dr. Leeper said that everything looked great and that we could stop the umbilical and circumcision care and give him a real bath!  Unfortunately, he wasn't a fan of his first real bath but we hope he will grow to like it more!

Two Weeks Old!

Hayes is 2 weeks old today!!  It is also my official due date (August 17th)!!  But Hayes obviously had other plans!  He lost his umbilical cord last night so we are excited to finally give him a bath in his big boy tub!  Below are a few things we have been up to:

Hayes is here!

Hayes Christopher Bland arrived 2 weeks early on August 3rd at 2:22pm!!  He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.  We are just loving him so much!!
