Charlie: 7 Months

Today Charlie is 7 Months Old!

This month he is smiling and laughing like crazy and we just can't get enough of him...

He "drove the car" with Hayes at Publix for the first time...

And is the best sport when Hayes gives him things to wear...

He drank water from a sippy cup for the first time...

And loves sitting with us at the table in his high chair!  He has tried several different fruits and veggies now and seems to favor pears and sweet potatoes.  Shockingly, he isn't a fan of the peas...

Charlie's favorite activity this month has been sitting up and playing and rolling around on the floor.  He has started to make motions like he wants to crawl so we are anticipating that sooner than later!

His routine this month has been all over the board and we are teetering between nursing 4 and 5 times a day with 2-3 naps as we continue to add baby food.  I'm hoping to get back on a schedule soon!

Easter Bunny!

Today, we made a last minute decision to go to Green Hills mall with friends to visit the Easter Bunny!  I threw on their bunny outfits (Thanks Gran Melin!) and we were on our way.  Surprisingly, Hayes walked right up to the Bunny, gave him a hug and sat right on his lap!  Charlie sat right on his lap as well and flashed his little grin...  

Next, we went to Nordstrom to color and watch the fish...

And our last stop was to Phillips Toy Mart to see the live bunnies!

Beginnings of Spring

This past weekend was just beautiful!  We had a much needed "taste of spring" that followed weeks of being sick.  Both boys had just finished rounds of antibiotics for sinus and ear infections when the dreaded stomach bug hit our house!  It started with Hayes and went through each and everyone of us including my mom who came to help.  We were so thankful to get some fresh air on Friday afternoon!  

Charlie tried out the swing for the first time and Hayes helped push....

We went on our first Wagon ride!

And then played even more once daddy got home...

On Saturday, the boys had two birthday parties to attend.  The first was at "My Gym" for Ali Engle's 2nd Birthday!

Next we headed to "Shipwrecked" for Lucas' pirate themed 3rd birthday party!  Hayes loved celebrating with one of his very best little friends!

At home, Hayes earned a popsicle for peeing in the potty for the first time!

And Charlie had fun being the "King of the World" in the bath tub...

And here we are enjoying the magician and bird at the Mexican restaurant for dinner!
