March Recap

This month has been so great because we have had the most amazing weather!  We have spent TONS of time outside and out and about doing fun things with friends.  Below are some pics of what we've been up to this month...

Bill's Bachelor Party

So, while Jessica & Jack were visiting in Nashville, Derek and the boys were celebrating Bill's bachelor party in Vegas!  Derek planned the whole trip and made all the dinner reservations.  There were 7 guys that went and they all had so much fun staying at the Bellagio.  I was so proud of Derek because he even took a picture for our blog!

This past weekend, Derek flew to Vegas for Bill's bachelor party!  Since Josh was going on the trip as well, I convinced his wife (and my sorority sister from UT) and their precious 5 month old son to come to Nashville!  The boys had such a great time and it was so fun seeing them play.  On Saturday, Leigh Anne and Sarah Wilhite came over to spend the day and Romni & Kelley drove down from Knoxville!  It was such a fun reunion!

March Babies!

March 2012 has become the official month of babies!  It seems like everyone is having their babies lately and my friends are no exception.  

On March 1st, Jordan welcomed her 3rd baby, Catherine Lee Elkins!  She is just adorable and I hope to get to Birmingham soon to meet her!  Below is a picture I stole from her facebook page...

Two of my friends in Nashville actually had their babies on the same day (March 14th)!  Christia and her family are living in Nashville for a few months and delivered at Centennial.  Kim delivered across the street at Baptist!  So today, after dropping off Hayes at school, I headed downtown to see the babies!  

First stop was to Baptist hospital to visit Kim's second baby girl, Mary Whitley Hicklen!  She is beautiful and reminds me so much of her older sister, Audrey...

Afterwards I visited Christia at Centennial.  She gave birth (naturally!) to her 4th baby, Kinsler Joseph Colquitt!  He looks so much like her second son, Colston and is just precious.  Here is the super mom and her newest baby...

19 Months

Today, Hayes is 19 Months!  The biggest thing to note these days is that he STILL HAS NOT ONE TOOTH!!  I got my first one at 19 1/2 months, so we're hoping to start seeing some pearly whites real soon!

This past month Hayes has really started to move away from the "random play" a bit and is really concentrating on certain things.  He is very into his puzzles and loves for us to clap for him after he gets each puzzle piece in.  He still loves reading and watching The Wiggles, Sesame and anything musical.  He can tell you all the characters in sesame street and has some weird love/hate issue with Oscar that we can't quite figure out!  He is learning his ABC's and is getting better everyday with his colors.  He loves animals and can tell you what most are and what sound they make.  It's so amazing what all he can understand now!
