June Recap

Well the month of June has completely flown by!  We've had a great first month of summer and have yet to slow down.  Hayes has been enjoying summer play dates on Tuesday and Thursdays with Ms. Jayne and Ms. Wendy.  And with Charlie moving to one nap most days, we've been able to get out a lot more!  

We celebrated Derek's Birthday, our 5th anniversary and Fathers Day along with several friends birthdays!  We also visited Granny and Baboo in Harriman and had a visit from Papa Bland, Memaw Mary and Pebbles.

We have spent most our days swimming and having fun with friends!  One of the highlights of our month was definitely seeing Sesame Street Live!  Hayes absolutely LOVED it!

Charlie: 10 Months

Charlie is 10 Months Old!

This has been a BIG month for milestones!   Shortly after turning 9 months, he started pulling up!  Now he loves to stand up all the time and is in the beginning stages of cruising.  We have put up the excersaucer and jumpers because he only wants to move around at this point.  He loves swinging outside and enjoys riding around in the stroller and REALLY loves splashing around the bath tub and in the swimming pool.  

 Charlie has never really loved the baby food so we started solids!  He LOVES puffs and any other baby snack food.  For breakfast he loves his bananas and has started many other solid fruits and vegetables and even some turkey!  

Charlie is sleeping really great at night and takes 1 or 2 naps each day.  I've been moving him to 1 nap really early but he has done great with it so far.  He will cat nap in the mornings and go down for one big nap after lunch.

He jibber jabbers quite a bit and says dada all the time!  His personality is so sweet that we could just eat him up!  

5 Years

Today we celebrated 5 years of marriage!  It's amazing how fast it has gone by and all that has happened!  We have learned so much about each other and about marriage and hope to grow stronger each day.  I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband and can't imagine my life without him.  Cheers to many, many more!!

Father's Day Weekend

We traveled East for Father's Day this year for the LBMC Family Outing at Dollywood!  We ran into Meredith and Joey at the park on Friday, and Hayes had fun riding rides with Abbey Kate!  He really doesn't like to have his picture taken lately, but we managed to get a few...

On Saturday we spent the day at Granny and Baboo's pool and then headed home Sunday for dinner with my dad.
