Easter Weekend

We had a great weekend in Harriman celebrating Hayes' first Easter!  We decided to go to West Town Mall in Knoxville on Friday evening so Hayes could visit the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Bunny was big business in Knoxville this year as we had to wait almost 2 WHOLE HOURS to see him!  Hayes did great despite being pretty tired and somewhat fussy after the long wait.  We got the official shot but I was also able to take a few with my camera...

Finally with the Bunny!!

Over it...

On Sunday we went to church at First Baptist Church in Kingston and Hayes really enjoyed all the music and colorful banners that came down the aisles!  However, once the preaching began, he decided that he wanted to "chit chat" so we had to go sit outside for the rest of the sermon.

Afterwards, we had a wonderful Easter lunch prepared by Derek's mother and Jim.  Derek's sister, Tiffany and her family all came over for lunch and an Egg hunt!

Here is Ashton teaching Hayes to play with her new IPAD...

Egg Hunt

This past Saturday, we went to my parents house for Hayes' 1st Egg Hunt!  Although it turned out to be pretty chilly outside, we had a great time!  Here he is all bundled up and ready...

Rhodes was able to hunt for eggs by himself for the first time!

And no Easter would be complete without my mom's Easter decor!  Below is every Easter bunny my sister and I ever had...

And of course the hats...

And then we sang some Easter songs and Rhodes helped Hayes play in the Jumperoo...

Hayes enjoyed opening his first Easter basket that came with his very own Elmo Easter bucket!

Thanks Gran Melin for a very fun and special day!!
