Final Days of August...

August has been a long month with both boys not being in school!  However, we have kept busy with anything we could find!  

We visited Bob and Larry from Veggie Tales...

Played at several indoor play spots...

Tried out the new splash pad in Mount Juliet...

And went and visited Thomas!

Charlie: 1 Year Old

Dear Charlie,

Today you turned 1!  It has been such a joy to watch you learn and grow during your first year of life.  You are such a happy baby and we are honored to be your parents!  You are so close to walking and already taking a few steps on your own.  You are saying several words including, "dada" and "ball"!  You love playing with balls and cars and are such a boy!  Your smile and laugh is contagious and your personality lights up a room!

At your 1 year check-up with Dr Leeper you weighed 22 pounds and 3 ounces (50%) and measured 31 inches (90%).  It broke my heart to see you get your shots!

We love you so incredibly much and can't wait to see what you will do next.

Charlie's 1st Birthday Party!

Today, we celebrated Charlie's first Birthday!  

We had a "Baby Mickey" themed cookout for family the Saturday before the big day.  It was such a fun time to visit with everyone and to reflect on the first year of Charlie's life!
