Summing Up Summertime!

We had a super fun and busy summer!  Between all the trips, events, and 4 birthday celebrations, we were able to squeeze in even more!  Our summer included:

-Hayes' Summer Reading Class

-Ethan's Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese

-Pillow forts & Play time at home

-Fishing

-4th of July party at the Martin's

-Charlie's first Movie @ the Theatre

-Swimming at the Pool

-Summer Play Days at Church

-Adventure Science Center

-Fun at the grandparents houses

-Backyard fun in Pirate Bay & Popsicles!

-The Zoo with Benjamin & Eleanor

-Lot's of friends over to play!

-Bike, Wagon & Stroller rides

-Fun with friends at Monkey's Treehouse

-Preschool Party at Church

-Hayes' 1st Baseball practice

-Derek and I went to an adult 80s party!

Charlie: 3 Years Old

Dear Charlie,

Today you are 3 Years Old!

We celebrated your big day while at the beach!  Now that you are 3, you officially got a "big boy" bed!  We are working on potty training and getting rid of your paci (which you love so much!)  You have grown so much this year, that I sometimes forget that you and Hayes aren't the same age!

You are definitely ALL boy!  You love playing with balls, trucks, running, jumping and pretending to be a super hero.  You are our little fish and would swim everyday if we would let you!  You have started to make your own little friends but love to play with Hayes most of all.  You are such a great big brother to Marianna and are already SO protective of her!  Whenever she cries, you immediately start singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".

Your favorite foods are turkey, fruit, any kind of chips, peanut butter, chicken nuggets and fries!  You love milkshakes and candy and all sorts of fruit snacks.  And you are OBSESSED with milk!  You want to drink it all day everyday :)

You have such a BIG personality but can become quite shy around people you don't know.  You don't give out hugs often, but when you do, they are the absolute BEST!  You have the biggest heart and we love seeing you learn and grow.  We love our blonde baby boy so very much and pray for you everyday!
