This weekend my high school girlfriends took a girls trip to Lake Lure in North Carolina! Amy's parents have owned this house since we were kids, and I traveled there tons growing up. It was fun to catch up with all the girls and see the newly renovated house! We all enjoyed lazy mornings and mimosas, lounging on the deck, and boat rides (even in the rain!)
Derek took the opportunity to take the boys on a special trip to Cincinnati. While there they went to a Reds game and the Cincinnati Zoo! On their way home, they stopped in Kentucky to visit Dino World and the boys had a blast!
Meanwhile, Marianna had a great time at Gran Melin & Papa Chucks and gained a lot of momentum walking!
