Charlie: 6 Months

Today, Charlie is 6 Months!

 At his official Check-Up,  he weighed in at 19 pounds, 8 ounces (80th%) and measured 27.5 inches in height (80th %)!  

Here is our happy boy at his appointment...

Since he never really liked rice cereal too much, we have moved on to baby food!  So far, we have tried Sweet Potatoes and Pears.  He likes them OK but still prefers his milk...

The biggest milestone to happen this month is that he is now sitting up!!  It is so fun to see him really start to play with toys...

And big brother can actually start playing with him now, too!

We are also loving these rolls :)

Kelley & Matt's Wedding

This past weekend, we headed to Knoxville for the wedding of our friends Kelley and Matt! We dropped off Hayes in Harriman to spend the weekend with Granny and Baboo and took Charlie with us.  We had such a fun time seeing friends and celebrating Kelley and Matt!

Valentines Day

 We had a fun Valentines Day this year!  Derek and I began the festivities with a lunch date to J Alexanders.  Hayes had school so we decided to skip the whole dinner thing and have a nice lunch with Charlie of course!  Afterwards I went home to set up the boys "happy's"...

After school, we met friends at the park.  The suckers were a big hit!

Hayes came home and was obsessed with looking at all of his Valentines and treats he got from his friends at school...

Our sweetest addition to Valentines Day this year!

When Derek got home we had a "Pizza Party" and decorated Valentines Suckers!

And the boys surprised me with some beautiful flowers!

The next morning, Hayes asked if we could have "Valentines Day again!"  He also pitched a huge fit because he could not have "candy for breakfast"!  I guess he really enjoyed Valentines Day, too! 

I'm so thankful for all THREE of my Valentines this year!!

February Fun

We have all been sick the last week or so fighting colds but have managed to have some fun anyways!

Hayes went to the Circus with Audrey and had fun celebrating Maggie Reedy's 2nd Birthday at Monkey's Treehouse!

Meanwhile, Valerie, Jessica and I threw Kelley a bridal shower at our house!

We had one really nice day last week and took advantage with a stroll...

And played in the dirt and leaves afterwards...

Charlie has been working on sitting up!

And of course, I had to throw in a few of my favorite pictures lately of the boys snuggling in their PJ's...

This morning, we went to Junior League's Pajama Character Breakfast!  Hayes loves any excuse to wear his Super Man PJ's and Charlie wore his Mickey Mouse footy jammies.
