Halloween

This year, the kids dressed up as Disney Characters!  Hayes decided on this theme and Charlie and Marianna were happy to go along with it :)  He had requested that I be Daisy Duck and that Derek be Goofy but we opted not to dress up!  

It was a super cold night so we ended up skipping the neighborhood party.  Derek took the boys out in the wagon and Marianna and I stayed in to hand out candy.  We didn't have a whole lot of kids this year so we were stuck with TONS of leftovers!!

October Outings

Along with all the fall festivities, we did lots of other fun things this month!

-Hayes and Derek camped in the back yard

-Hayes continued playing on the soccer team and taking swim lessons

-I went out on a fun girls night with friends

-Charlie was intrigued by the trucks across the street paving their new driveway

-The boys had "spirit week" at school and loved dressing with the theme of each day.  Charlie had some crazy hair!

-Derek took advantage of some leftover cake that ended up at our house...

-Derek took Hayes to his first Titans game!  He loved cheering on the team and eating snacks:)

-I took all 3 kids to the dentist for mine and Hayes' check ups.  Hayes enjoyed playing on cousin Brandon's computer

-The boys watched in amazement at the house burning in our neighborhood that had been donated to the fire department.

-The boys still had some good outdoor time even though they were bundled up!

Lil Sports Academy

On Thursdays after school this month, the boys started classes at the Lil Sports Academy!  Charlie was really wanting to play soccer so I found a "Kick Start Soccer" class for 2 year olds.   Conveniently, at the very same time was a "Multi Sport" class for 4 years olds.  Below are some pictures from their first day...

Pumpkins

October is such a fun month!  There are always so many fun kid activities centered around the fall and Halloween!  We went to several "Fall Fests" and spent a day at Gentry's Farm.  I went to Hayes' "Fall Party" at school and the boys helped daddy carve our pumpkin!  Of course, I tried to get as many pictures as I could in their cute pumpkin outfits.  It's extremely hard to get them all looking these days but I tried pretty hard!
