Final Ultrasound

Today, I had my final appointment with Dr. Morgan!  We also did one more ultrasound to make sure all my fluid levels, placenta, etc. looked good.  Thankfully, everything is fine!  Charlie is just not ready to make his appearance!  Here is our little guy today...

40 Weeks!

Well, the due date has come and gone and still no Charlie!  We just can't believe that he still isn't here!  Since we made no plans at all for August, we've really been living day to day and getting out as much as we can!  

Neyland has been relaxing before the new baby gets here...

Hayes and I have been making muffins in the morning...

And experimenting with "Dot Paint" that he got for his birthday...

We met the Brummetts at Inside Out Play Park...

And got to sit in a Fire Engine...

And this morning we went to see the Tree Houses at Cheekwood...

And got to play with Will and Gaines...

And Lucas...

Hopefully Charlie will be here real soon!

Waiting for Charlie

Well today, i'm 39 weeks and Charlie has yet to make his debut!  We have had plenty of time to get everything done and finally finished his nursery...

Thankfully, it has cooled down a bit outside lately, so we have been keeping pretty busy while we wait!  Here is Hayes having fun in his new Super Man PJ's...

2 Year Doctor Visit

Today, Hayes had his official 2 year old check-up with Dr. Leeper!  

Hayes weighed in at 25 pounds, 5 ounces (25th percentile) and measured 37 inches in height (97th percentile)

Dr. Leeper was really impressed with his development and verbal skills.  We also discussed some discipline tactics for our very strong-willed child!

The Wiggles!

Last night, we took Hayes to his very first concert, THE WIGGLES!!  We thought it was hilarious that the concert was at the famed Ryman Auditorium!  I had made the mistake of telling him that morning that we were going to see the Wiggles.  All day, he stood by the door crying that he wanted to see them right now!  Next time, I won't tell him until right when we are going!  

Hayes is a Wiggles SUPER FAN, so we weren't quite sure how he would react.  Once we got there, he was absolutely mesmerized by seeing all the characters in real life.  I don't think he has sat that still for that long in his life!
