End of May

On top of all of our recent trips, we have stayed just as busy at home towards the end of May.  Derek and I went to an engagement party, the boys have spent tons of time outside with friends, and we attended several May birthday parties!  Below are a few pictures from the end of May...

Breakers

I recently returned home from my annual girls trip lovingly called "Breakers"!  

I can't believe this was my 4th year in a row to go on this trip either pregnant or nursing!  It was definitely the hardest year to leave, but I desperately needed to escape and am so glad I did!  It was one of our best trips to date.  We had an amazing house, perfect weather, great food and time with some of my best friends in this world!  Out of the 12 of us from UT, 10 were able to venture this year to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.  We had never been there before, and our breakers chair this year, Leigh Anne, booked an incredible house located directly on the beach with a pool!  Below are a few pictures we took while there...

While I was away, Derek took Hayes to East Tennessee to spend the weekend with Granny and Baboo!  They went camping in Pigeon Forge, went to Dollywood, played miniature golf and went swimming...

I think it's safe to say that Hayes had a big time...

Meanwhile, Charlie stayed at Gran Melin and Papa Chuck's house for the long weekend.  It was his first time away from me over night, but he seemed to do great for the most part!  He enjoyed his time eating, sleeping, strolling, and having tons of play time!

Thanks to everyone for taking such good care of the boys!  I know they both had a great time and enjoyed all of the individual attention.  I really appreciate it!

Charlie: 9 Months

Charlie is 9 Months Old!  

At his official 9 Month appointment he weighed 21 pounds and 6 ounces (80th percentile) and measured 29.5 inches in height (85th percentile).

The biggest milestone to happen this month is that Charlie is now crawling!  He is everywhere and loves exploring all his surroundings!  He started with a more of a "bug" style crawl and has now moved to a more traditional style of crawling with an extra plunge forward at the end!  He has started the beginning stages of pulling up this month and is now sitting in the bath tub without the ring!

We recently introduced puffs which he absolutely loves.  Mashed up bananas and baby mums have been a hit as well!
