Valentine Fun

This year, we started celebrating Valentines Day early kicking it off with a party at my parents house on Friday night!  Of course, my mom when all out with the love decor...

A few gifts for the little man...

On Saturday night, Derek and I got a babysitter and went out to a nice dinner with another couple (The Fagans).  Hayes had school on Tuesday, so we decided to not try to fight the Valentine dinner rush and opted for a Valentines lunch instead!  That night, we celebrated at home with chili and cupcakes.

Baby #2!

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second baby!  Our due date is August 24th which is just one week past Hayes' due date.  Our babies will be almost exactly two years apart!  We are so thankful for this gift and are already praying daily for this child.  Hayes is going to be such a good big brother!!

Ephesians 3:14-19

18 Months!

Today, our little man is 18 months!  I can't believe he is already 1 and a half years old!  Hayes continues to amaze us with his vocabulary and seems to learn something new everyday.  We are so grateful for our healthy boy and are enjoying seeing him grow!

We went to his 18 Month check up today and he weighed in at 23 pounds, 13 ounces (25th%) and measured 33.75 inches (90th%).  Dr. Leeper told us that he will at least be 6"2 if not taller!  I'm going to have a hard time feeding all of these big boys!!  Additionally, he is getting bigger since he has typically been in the 15th% for weight and is now in the 25th%.  We can definitely tell that he is eating more.  However we are still having a hard time with those veggies!  

The rest of the appointment went well except for a prick on his toe.  Hayes HATES to have his feet touched so the prick and the band-aid on the toe pretty much sent him over the edge!  After a long meltdown, we headed home for some lunch.
