All About April...

April was a lot of fun but busy!  Some of the things we did included:

-Charlie went to Lynlee's 3rd Birthday Party at Chick Filet

-The boys got their own miniature golf set

-We strolled a lot

-We played outside a lot and broke out the water table

-Derek took Hayes to a Nashville Sounds game

-The boys got hair cuts

-We had family movie nights with popcorn

-All 3 kids enjoyed playing with each other at home

-The kids had the stomach bug, so we replaced our rug!

Music City 1/2 Marathon

Today I completed my 1st (and probably last) 1/2 Marathon!  I decided to do it in support of my dear friends Jennifer & Mike Matwijec, who founded "Waves of Grace".   In honor of Jennifer's late mother (Debbie), she wanted to form an organization that sent cancer patients and their families on all-expense-paid beach vacations to relax from all of their treatments.  So this past January, I started training with "Team Waves" to help raise money.  With the help of family and amazing friends, I surpassed our individual goal of $800!   I can't believe I actually ran the 1/2 marathon but am glad that I did!  Derek went with me and was able to grab some pics!

Lego Fest

This year we purchased tickets to the Lego Kids Fest downtown at the the Music City Center!  They boys absolutely had a blast!  They loved playing in the big piles of legos, building lego race cars and racing them, and taking pictures with all of the giant lego characters.  They even had activities for the smallest builders!!
