A TOOTH!

Over the last few days, Hayes has started to get his first TOOTH!!  It is in the back left corner of his mouth and is currently about half way in!  Since the tooth was so far back I couldn't get a picture.  So here he is brushing his teeth for the first time on his new stool...

Bill & Christy's Wedding

This past weekend, we went to Atlanta to celebrate Bill and Christy's wedding!  Below are a few pictures of the weekend...

Bill and Christy had a really fun photo booth that all the guests took pictures in.  One copy went in an album for the bride and groom and each guest got to keep a copy as well!  Here are the shots of me and D...

We are so thankful to have my parents so close by to take such good care of Hayes while we are away!  THANK YOU!!

It's another BOY!

Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound and found that Hayes will have a baby brother!  Here is the profile of the little guy...

And this one looks as if he is smiling!

We are so grateful for the gift of another son and are praying throughout the rest of the pregnancy for a healthy baby and a safe delivery.

Happy Easter!

We had a fun-filled Easter weekend starting off with a trip to the mall Saturday morning to see the Easter Bunny!  Hayes did great until he actually sat on his lap.  This is the best shot we could get with "Hop" (what Hayes called the Easter Bunny this year)...

This year, Hayes got some bath toys, stickers, book, CD, puzzles, bubbles and fruit snacks!

My parents came with us to our church service and then we had brunch at Mere Bulles.  We saw a special friend there as well!  Unfortunately, he made Hayes a tad bit nervous...

All in all, we had a great time celebrating Easter and enjoyed reading books to Hayes about the true meaning of Easter.  I can't wait until he can really understand Jesus' love for us!

Kansas City

The first week of April was Hayes' Spring Break from school, so we decided to go do something fun!  We took advantage of the fact that children under 2 can fly for free and headed to visit Ashley and Laney in Kansas City!  Luke was away that week, so Ashley and I had the kids to ourselves.  

Flying alone with Hayes started out great at the airport.  We ate lunch, played on the airport playground, and boarded our flight.  Unfortunately, the flight itself turned out to be crazy!  Hayes does not like to sit on peoples laps so I ended up wrestling him still pretty much the whole way there and back!  Once we got to Kansas City, things were much better.  The kids played great and we had lots of fun outings to the park and a really adorable little farm!
