Hayes is 2!

Dear Hayes,

Yesterday, at exactly 2:22pm, you officially turned two years old!  We can't believe how quickly two years have flown by and can't imagine you not in our lives.  Your little personality continues to dazzle us, and just when we think you can't do something you prove us wrong!  Seeing you learn to talk and now make 4 and 5 word completely clear sentences is absolutely blowing us away!  

We have actually been celebrating your birthday for a few weeks now!  It started off with a surprise new play set that showed up in our back yard from Gran Melin & Papa Chuck!  You have had such a fun time in it so far and love sliding and playing in your "tree house"!  Here you are waiting with anticipation for it to be set up a few weeks ago...

You had such a fun party last Saturday at My Gym with all your friends!  And you have really enjoyed all of your new toys!

On your actual birthday, we spent the morning with friends at Shipwrecked!

And then, last night we went to Chuck E Cheese for pizza and more fun with Gran Melin and Papa Chuck!  Followed by even more cake and presents!  You loved the Barney Train...

Your big gift this year from Mama and Daddy is tickets to see the WIGGLES!  

We're not sure you understand what you opened, but we have no doubt that you are going to have the best time!

We truly hope that you have had the best 2nd birthday ever and can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you.  We pray for you everyday and thank God for allowing us to raise such a special little boy!
