Derek and I felt very blessed to spend Christmas 2009 with so many members of our family! We traveled to see Derek's grandfather and his wife in Oak Ridge on December 23rd and took them out to eat. It was great being able to spend a day with them since we don't get to as often as we would like. On Christmas Eve Morning, we traveled to Sweetwater to a brunch at Derek's dad's home and watched as our neice and nephew (Ashton & Austin) tore into gifts afterwards! Next we traveled to Harriman to Derek's mom's home for Christmas Eve. We did Secret Santa with several family members and then watched the kids excitement as they opened multiple gifts.
Afterwards we drove back to Nashville to spend Christmas Day with my family. We ate breakfast and opened gifts with my immediate family and then my Aunt, Uncle, cousin Brandon and his wife Ashley came and brought their precious son Rhodes! It was so fun to see him open all his gifts!
