37 Week Ultrasound

Today we went in for our 37 week ultrasound!  Hayes looked to be very healthy, already practicing his breathing for the outside world, and with plenty of amniotic fluid surrounding him.  Although his limbs (arms and legs) are still measuring long, his overall weight is a little low at 5 1/2 pounds for 37 weeks.  The Dr. thinks he looks fine, but is having us do another ultrasound next week to keep a close watch on him.  I haven't started to dilate yet, so it looks like he will be in there another 3 weeks! 

Our ultrasound tech was able to capture a really vivid picture of Hayes today.  Check out those chubby cheeks!!
