8 Week Catch Up!

Today Hayes is 8 Weeks Old!!  We have officially grown out of his newborn diapers and are now in size one.  Hayes has also started to grow out of several of his newborn outfits!  As excited as I am to know that he is growing, I am also sad that time seems to be flying by................

The last 2 weeks have been jammed packed with events.  Neyland turned 2 years old on September 15th so we celebrated with Dodger Hicklen (and Kim, Patrick & Audrey) at the dog park.  Here are some pics of him on his actual birthday.  He is even sweeter than ever!!

We think Hayes enjoyed seeing all of the other puppy dogs!!  Derek tested out the baby bjorn for the first time...

Derek and I recently joined Brentwood Baptist Church and had Hayes dedicated at the baby dedication service on September 19th.  It was such a special time for our family and we loved having so many family members in town for the event.   Kim and Patrick were there dedicating their daughter, Audrey,  in the same ceremony.  Additionally, our friend Allison and her sister Aubrie came who both grew up going to Brentwood Baptist.

Over the last couple of weeks we have had even more visitors to see Hayes.  My cousin Brandon and his wife Ashley and son, Rhodes, came over one night and brought us dinner.  Here they are with Hayes...

Our good friends Josh and Jessica also came to visit recently!

My 10 year high school reunion was this past weekend.  We took Hayes to the football game on Friday night.  He loved looking at the lights and hearing the music.
