21 Months

Hayes is 21 Months today!  

Obviously the highlight of this month has been Hayes getting teeth!  He now has a second tooth coming in the front.  His whole mouth is swollen and he definitely seems more irritable than normal.  We're just hoping he gets the majority in before baby #2 gets here!  

This past month Hayes has been working hard on his ABC's and counting to 10.  He can identify all of the letters except for L.  We are working extra hard to get that one!  He has all his colors and animals down!  His talking continues to blow us away.  It seems as if he can say and identify everything!  One of my favorite things he is saying lately when we ask him who he saw at school or church he says "friends".  It is precious!  And today, Derek asked him what he learned about at school today and he replied "Jesus".  It completely melted our hearts!  

It has been really warm outside so we have been playing outside a lot and experimenting with some new things like play doh and sidewalk chalk!  Hayes is a HUGE pizza fan, so last weekend we tried out Chuck E Cheese!  It was great and Hayes had a ball.
