Charlie's Dedication

On Sunday, November 4th, we dedicated Charlie to the Lord at our church!  Below is the paragraph that was read at the service...

"Charlie was born on August 28^th …four days past his due date!  As a last resort, his mother, Anna Clare, drank castor oil mixed with orange juice the afternoon before his birthday, and it worked!  At 6:12am the next morning, Charlie Mack arrived! 

Charlie is lovingly named after both of his grandfathers.  “Charlie” is after his maternal grandfather “Charles Snyder” and “Mack” is after his paternal grandfather “Mack David Bland”.

Today he is wearing a gown given to him by his maternal grandmother, Melinda Snyder.  It was also worn by Charlie’s big brother, Hayes, two years ago. 

Charlie is blessed to have so much family that loves him very much.  Many of which are here with us today!  The life verse given to Charlie (Proverbs 3:5-6) is the same verse that was given to his father, Derek, and shared with his brother, Hayes.  His parents pray that both their boys will trust the Lord in everything and allow him to lead them in all that they do. "

 And he will make your paths straight.”
