22 Months

Today, Hayes is 22 Months!  

He has really been cracking us up lately with his vocabulary!  This month he is starting to combine words together to make two and three word phrases such as "play one more minute", "I sorry mama", "hey buddy", and our favorite "love daddy", "love mama" and "love ne ne".  He loves to talk about his friends that we play with during the week and asks about them often.  Also this month I have noticed him singing some of his favorite tunes and really catching on to bits and pieces of the lyrics.  He loves "Twinkle Twinkle", "Jesus Loves Me", "This little light of mine", and "Rock A Bye your Bear" by the Wiggles!  When we are in the car we have to listen to the Wiggles song on repeat always!  

He is really loving to swim and gets more confident each time he is in the water.  He will lay on his stomach in the the house and say "swim fish" and try to make a fish face on his lips!  He is still obsessed with the farm and zoo animals and thinks Ole McDonald lives next door.  Our next door neighbor is an older man that likes to ride his green tractor wearing a flannel shirt and large straw hat.  Every time Hayes sees him outside he says "E I O Farm"!  

We are starting to talk about Charlie more and more and I think he is somewhat starting to know that something is up.  He says "big boy" a lot and likes to sit in the kitchen chair without his booster and yells "big"!  We have been starting to drag out some of the baby gear and Hayes really enjoys lounging in the papasan seat.  I'm pretty sure he thinks we got it out for him!
