Seacrest Beach

We just returned home from our week-long family vacation in Florida! Each year we stay in a different section of 30A, so this year we tried Seacrest. It is a great little community nestled in between Rosemary and Alys Beach. Thankfully, like his parents, Hayes loves the beach! He had no fear of the ocean and loved going out in the "big waves" with his daddy. We also had fun celebrating both Father's Day and our 4 Year Anniversary while there!

Our daily routine was going to the beach in the morning for about 2 hours and then heading to the pool for an hour. Afterwards we would go in, give him a quick bath, eat lunch and then put him down for a nap. Derek napped everyday like it was his job and I took advantage of some relaxing time to myself! When Hayes woke up each day, we headed to dinner early at all of our favorite restaurants! After dinner, we would do a fun activity like go to a park, outdoor concert or grab ice cream!

We had several friends that happened to be down there the same week which was fun. We saw Sarah Wilhite on the beach, had dinner with the Lamphron's and played afterwards with Lucas at the park, played with the Blevins family and Luke at the beach and at the outdoor concert, and had lunch with Bill & Christy who were in Destin for a wedding!

The whole trip went well and ended up being a great time for the 3 of us to spend some much needed family time before our family becomes a family of 4! Our only hick-up during the week was the flight. Let's just say that we probably won't be doing anymore flying with Hayes anytime soon!

Anyway, below are the pictures I took throughout the week. Please excuse the few pictures of me! I've never been a fan of pictures while pregnant but wanted to get a few of us together.
