Today, unfortunately, we had our first visit to the ER with Charlie. His teacher called me from school and said that Charlie had fallen on the playground and would most likely need stitches. On my way to the school I called our pediatrician and found that they did not do stitches on a child as young as Charlie so we would need to go to Vanderbilt Children's Emergency Room. We hated to see Charlie in so much pain, but we were thankful that we were only there for stitches. Vandy is such a sad place and we are so thankful for our healthy boys.
