Since the kids were out of school a lot in December, we spent a lot more time at home than normal. The boys loved finding the "Elf on the shelf" every morning! Even little Charlie would point to it everyday and shout "elf", "elf"! They renamed him this year "Chippey" after the Elf on the Shelf movie. Here we are probably watching it...
Both boys have had a lot going on with their teeth lately. While Charlie is loving to brush, Hayes' final tooth is coming in!
We made and decorated gingerbread cookies! Next year I will remember to buy the ones with the pre-made gingerbread men...
We hosted our small group Christmas party and did more fun crafts with the kids...
And for the most part, the boys seemed to get along great! Hayes looks forward to Charlie waking up so he can "play" and when Hayes isn't there, Charlie yells, "Hayes!" They also found some new and creative ways to pass the time...
