Happy Birthday, Derek!
Thankfully I had planned ahead a little bit and had ordered his birthday cake and gift extra early since we didn't know when Marianna would arrive! Hayes really wanted him to have a pirate cake so I was was able to order one at Baskin Robbins!
We celebrated with birthday cinnamon rolls for breakfast, lunch and cake at my parents house, and pizza for dinner! We took our first ride in the car all together and went on a fun family walk after dinner. Marianna seemed to love strolling and the boys loved throwing rocks in the creek! I was reminded once again at what a wonderful father Derek is to them.
I'm so thankful for Derek's life and the wonderful husband and father he is!
