Today, our sweet little Hayes is 3 Months Old! He is growing like a weed! I am actually in the process of boxing up all the newborn and 0-3 month outfits and swaddle blankets. He is already fitting into several 6 month things! We think he now weighs just over 13 pounds. This is DOUBLE what he weighed when he was born!
This month, Hayes has started to become very alert. He is playing more and more with toys and reaching out and grabbing things. He has noticed his hands and is constantly clasping them and examining them. He is smiling and cooing constantly. He is getting very strong in tummy time and tries to stand up while holding him. It is so amazing to see him grow and discover new things every single day. Those of you that know me, know that I really can't stand obnoxious colorful baby toys. So, I had only registered for neutral colored boring toys that wouldn't "stand out" too much in our living room. Well, when we visited Ashley and Luke, Hayes absolutely LOVED playing with all of Laney's obnoxious, colorful toys. He sat in her bouncer all weekend and looked at the lights and pulled on the toys. So what did we do? Ordered him one immediately when we returned. I give you Hayes' new favorite toy, the Rainforest Bouncer..........
Our living room is now referred to as the new "day care center"! Here he is playing with some of his other toys.....

Haha! I remember saying that I never wanted obnoxious baby toys in our house....especially any cartoon characters...ha! Now all Evey wants are Dora or Mickey things, so we give in :). That rainforest bouncer is Bennett's favorite. He loves it!!
