7 Months Old!

Today baby Hayes is 7 MONTHS OLD!!  

It has been a fun month filled with lots of new adventures.  He started eating baby food and has had (in this order) Peas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Bananas, Apples and Pears.  He likes all of them, but his favorite seems to be the Sweet Potatoes!  Our routine has been pretty consistent this month. He sleeps from about 8pm to around 7:30am each morning and usually takes 2 naps each day.  He is nursing 4 times a day and eating rice cereal with a fruit in the mid-morning and rice cereal and a vegetable for dinner.

Hayes also recently started testing out the "Sippy Cup" and seems to enjoy having a few sips of water after his meals.....

He has become quite the "wiggle worm" and doesn't ever want to sit still!  If there is something he wants to grab, he seems to always find a way to get to it whether it's plunging forward or scooting on his belly.  We think he could start crawling any day!  It is becoming increasingly hard to change his diaper or his clothes.......

We recently had to move his bath tub to the bathroom (instead of the kitchen sink) because the splashing was getting out of control!  Here is Hayes having fun in the "big bath"....

His favorite activity lately has been "unloading" buckets or baskets full of toys.  I take all the little toys I can find around the house and shove them in a basket and watch as he will take each object out one by one.  It's amazing how entertaining this is to him!  He is still smiling and laughing all the time and seems very happy and content.  Hayes is still loving his time at school and has turned into our little Picasso!
