Poor Neyland has had a rough time since baby Hayes was born. He went from being an only "fur baby" to suddenly being out shined by the new "flesh baby". In the last 7 months, Neyland has been angry, acted out in ways we haven't seen since he was a puppy (causing us to have our carpets professionally cleaned...), been so depressed that he wouldn't get out of the bed to go outside, and been in denial completely avoiding Hayes at all cost. We were starting to wonder if someone had switched our dog at the groomers! Anyway, we have come full circle with him in the last few days. And thankfully he is back to his old fun-loving self and has really started to explore and enjoy Hayes. We catch them having starring contests and occasionally Neyland will get close enough for Hayes to get a real good tug on his fur. The other night, Neyland decided to get in on the play time with Hayes.............
Then he decided to come a little closer...
and maybe have just a little lick....
and then went in for the complete slobber.....
"Don't worry Mom, I'm Okay!".....
Neyland also likes to alert us of a "poopy" diaper....
"Alright, someone come and change him!"
A couple more "kisses"....
Thankfully, Daddy always comes to the rescue when Hayes has had enough!
