This past week has been a great "first official week" of Spring! Derek took his "boys trip" to Vegas last weekend to kick-off March Madness while Hayes and I stayed home and took advantage of a few days of spring weather! Here is our favorite tree in full bloom in our backyard...
While daddy was gone, we took many strolls outside...
and at school with friends...
Hayes tested out the swing at the park...
and sat like a "big boy" at the grocery store...
and at the Cheesecake factory with Gran Melin and Papa Chuck...
Unfortunately, our "spring weather" only lasted a few days, so we had to move playtime back inside...
I decided that Hayes did not have enough room to move around and play, so I moved our coffee table to make room for our little acrobat. Here is the "total takeover" of our living room that I actually swore would never happen!
Today, I came home from a baby shower to find that Derek had bought Hayes a new toy to celebrate March Madness...
