Yesterday, we visited Dr. Leeper for Hayes' 9 Month App. He weighed 18 pounds and measured 29 inches! We got the green light to slowly start offering finger foods in addition to the chunkier baby foods with meat in them. We are starting with some puffs today! He also said that since Hayes does such a good job of drinking out of a straw, to start weaning completely off of the bottle to a cup with a straw instead of the traditional sippy.
Hayes was absolutely WILD at his appointment and didn't sit still for a minute. Dr. Leeper and the nurses commented on how happy he is and what a fun personality he has. After he proceeded to rip up the entire paper on the office table and tried to do flips off of it, Dr. Leeper just smiled and said "You may want to make sure you have lots of great toys at home..."
It looks like we are in for a wild ride with our crazy little man!!
