9 Months Old!!

Today, Hayes is 9 MONTHS OLD!!  And what a busy month it has been!  Our routine is pretty much the same.  I'm still nursing him 4 times a day and he is now eating 3 meals a day.  This month we introduced chunkier baby foods and pureed meats.  Meal time has become EXTREMELY messy now that he loves grabbing the spoon from me and putting his hands in his mouth!

Just a few days after turning 8 months old, he started full fledged fast crawling and hasn't looked back since!!  He does not want to sit still for a second and gets into absolutely everything!!  It's been pretty difficult to even capture pictures of him this month...

We've had to get creative to find ways for him to stay in one place!  Derek has worn him in the baby bjorn...

We've been strolling with Samantha and Maggie...

Watching intense episodes of Sesame after an afternoon of playing with Audrey...

This month we've moved Hayes into the "big bath" after weeks of him trying to crawl out of the baby bath tub...

I had bought some "Elmo" suction treads to help keep him from sliding, but he thought it would be more fun to pull each and every one up and play with them...

And tonight, for the very first time, Hayes pulled himself all the way up to standing by himself!!  Derek and I were both in the room and saw it happen!!  We are so proud of our growing little boy and can't wait to see what he will do next!!
